So lonnggg overdue update. many MANY sweet things have happened, who could think that such a short period of time could contain a massive amount of glory!
…but it did. so short time + lots of glory = difficult to communicate. (but not impossible) :)
jesus is worth it. i find this to be true more and more everyday. why has he asked me to come here? why has he given me amazing people to love and disciple? why is he continuing to lead me to the nations?
well i am my beloveds and he is mine. that is the joy if living with God. he becomes everything and it makes me so happy. i continue to allow him to break me and release the beautiful fragrance that he put in me, and i see my purpose being fulfilled. *sigh* i love it.
in 2 weeks we GO! i am leading a team of 10 with another student leader to MOZAMBIQUE! (mo-zam-beaky, not really but its fun to say it that way) we will be taking the kingdom that we are learning about and putting it into practice. blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom. going to those poor in spirit and dwelling with them, showing them the joy we have and living with them in their sorrow.
seeing them as jesus does. beautiful, precious, unique, and full of purpose. humbly wanting them to know the lover of their soul. and serving with all that we have, hoping that many of them finding LIFE!
do pray. pray that jesus would consume me, and that all i do would be full of him. he is the only hope and answer for the people there, without him i have nothing to offer. that is why its so wonderful to follow him, i cant go wrong. :)
